Set the control dial: where a human stays in the filing workflow
Lesson 5 of 5 · Workflows & automation
1 · Learn the move · Fact-check list
Not every step deserves the same supervision. The dial has settings: full-auto for sorting and naming, draft-for-review for anything a client reads, human-only for a position on a return and for anything that goes to the Service with the firm's name on it. Set the dial step by step, write it down, and the automation never drifts past where you put it.
For each step of my [workflow], set the control dial: full-auto / draft-for-review / human-only, with a one-line reason tied to who reads the output and what it would cost to be wrong.
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
Your return workflow has eleven steps and the automation is starting to touch more of them. Set the dial for every step, in writing, before it sets itself.
Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
